Details
The cake drum is the strongest type of cake board available. Measuring 12 mm thick, the square drum is strong enough to support any type of cake from fruit to sponge, and is ideally used for heavy cakes, the bottom tier of stacked, or wedding cakes. You can also decorate the silver board to match your cake by covering it with icing and finishing with a ribbon around the edge.
This 8 inch drum board has a fern texture, silver coloured foil covering the top and sides with a white paper base underneath, which compliment any cake.
This size board is perfect for a 5 inch fruit cake, or a 6 inch sponge cake.
