The cake drum is the strongest type of cake board available. Measuring 12 mm thick, the drum is strong enough to support any type of cake from fruit to sponge, and is ideally used for heavy cakes, the bottom tier of stacked, or wedding cakes. You can also decorate the board to match your cake by covering it with icing and finishing with a ribbon around the edge.
This 10 inch cake drum is perfect for a 7 inch fruit cake, or a 8 inch sponge cake.
